Just a small thing that would be nice for domdomsoft should have is a ‘stop’ or ‘pause’ queue button as there is alredy a ‘start’ queue

Can I make another suggestion?
Would it be possible to include an option so that the application will create automatically a folder with the downloaded manga’s name?
For example:
Default download location: “c:\Manga”
When I download Naruto chapters, those will automatically go to “c:\Manga\Naruto”

WHen I download manualy the chapter, I can type the folder where I want it to go. The problem is the automatically downloaded bookmarked manga chapters.

In your options, under the “save to” tab, check the box which says “make directory based on manga name”.

there are already high quality sites you can download in DDM, why add another one?
the way i see it, mangainn has just the same contents on what is already available in DDM manga links.

that site works just like the rest of the manga sites in the web.
it aggregates all the mangas in the web, and place them in one place, just like mangafox, or mangareader, or etc.
if anything, it does not offer HIGH QUALITY SCANS for download, in fact, it resizes it, and it adds its own watermark, as if they own it.
you can verify what i’m talking about on titles such as beelzebub released by redhawkscans, Toriko released by HWMN, and among others.

mangainn is not a good high quality site. And as a scanlator I’m sure they play not fair with others. If you try to read manga and download manga from mangainn, you will see the images very low quality and added their watermark. Like mangafox and mangareader. So why not fox or reader while they have good server network with wide bandwidth to high speed download?

Well, I agree with Scaner and Hasseno here. Mangainn add their watermarks, and has low quality image. I’ve seen their other entries like NuraMago, L-DK, etc and THERE IS Mangainn’s watermarks on the pages. While their entry of Negima doesn’t have watermark, if many others have, then it has no difference with other readers that we already have. Just use mangareader, mangafox, mangahere, etc if you don’t mind watermarks. Or otakuworks and goodmanga if you don’t like watermarks.
Don’t just look at one title, look at other titles too.

Yes, Mangainn.com is faster it seems. I compared the release speed with EatManga, Mangareader, MangaFox and Mangainn wins. The quality is also good (same as the top websites).
(compared manga release: Soul Eater & Freezing)
Also I saw one Mangareader release with it’s watermark overwriting Mangainn’s watermark. Can’t remember which one. The quality/size was also reduced.
@Admin, please consider adding it to the list.

why mangafox sometimes always stuck at now loading ? its always like this since previous version, i have to close ddm and open it again couple times to make the download start and sometimes when the chapter downloads complete and downloading next chapter it stuck at now loading again
its the same for all manga from mangafox. when i download from kissmanga/batoto it runs perfectly
and i have no problems for my internet connection

Bringing this post forth from the 4.6 update thread:
I’ve updated to 4.6.1 and downloaded the latest list for RedHawkScans, but certain series (like The World God Only Knows) is still not showing up under the manga list.

Well it wasn’t showing up for me before either but when I updated the list this time the missing series showed up. Try right clicking on the list and updating from there instead of using the button…thats what i just did.

Just a small request, can you add the “Prev” Button in manga information because you’ve already add “Next” button

I found something strange, when I change the drive letter where the download directory is stored into another letter, resume download is still running but the result does not appear anywhere.
Additional requests: if changing the download location in the options, then download that on a resume after that will be automatically moved. Or the download location can be moved manually by right clicking on the list.

hi
i just bought a life time license (not yet received) but i have question. can i use my lifetime license on multiple pcs such as on my laptop as well as my dekstop pc? and can both of them are downloading at the same time? this is because in case that i want to queue download (complete/old manga) on my desktop and i might dload on my laptop when outside (eg to dload/read latest chapter)

Please add “hibernate/shut down/standby” after downloaded. i mean not all task must complete to do that that, just task in running state done. although it has stopped task (not complete), it still hibrnate/shut down/stanby when running task done.

I’m having a pretty annoying problem since earlier versions.
Whenever I try to queue a bunch of mangas, most of times the program gets stuck with the loading bar showing the “Now loading… please wait” message, and then I must kill the process. While trying to queue even a moderate number of mangas (just about 10) this is guaranteed to happen 100%. Is not a big deal but it is VERY annoying.

Seems that the issue was related with the downloadhistory file being way too large. I’ve deleted it and now not only the progam does not freeze, but it performs a lot better.

Some of the newer newer manga are not being updated to my DomDom MangaFox list. I have been updating the MangaFox list often. Some new manga do appear, some do not. Example:
Super Oresama Love Story, added to MangaFox Jan. 22, DOES appear in the list. Hinata no Ookami – Shinsengumi Kidan, added to MangaFox Jan. 17, has NOT been updated to the DomDom list. This is just one example.
Otherwise, great product, I absolutely love it.

How come when I try to download chapter 187-204 of Negima from RedHawkScans, it stays at chapter loading and doesn’t start, though all the other chapters work
