DomDomSoft Manga Downloader version 4.5 release
In this release:
- Manga24h, MangaAr, MangaLatte bug fixed.
- Remaining days of FULL Version from now on only show when the license has < 30 days left. If you do not use lifetime license, you can see the remaining days by click on Register button, check in Register dialog’s top bar.
- Add RedHawkScans (FULL Version only – to limit the users can download from them, they’re scanlation site so need support from users). Move MangaStream to new group: Scan groups:
- Add KissManga – high quality and fast update English manga.

If you want to request new manga sites, please tell us what’s good point of them that existed sites in DomDomSoft Manga Downloader do not have.

May I propose a new feature:
In advanced filter, could you set up a check-list of available manga site (similar to current genre check-list) ?
For example: When I want to search a title in high quality sites only (e.g. batoto, eatmange and kissmanga only), I have to wait for DMD searching all sites, which is kinda slow.

Just wonder whether you want to make a version of DomDom (both reader + downloader) on Android?

No i will not make it, because already had many manga downloader software in android.

When I installed over 4.4.2
It became unregister and I lost all the settings, bookmarks and the queues.
I was able to recover the queues with renameing Tasks.backup to Tasks but there seems to be no backup of other files.
Not to self: I will be sure to backup all files before upgrading next time.

I use VMware Fusion under Mac OS on MacBook Pro
Running Windows 7, has about 50 tasks in the queue.

I have one request, can you add http://www.mangastream.to
to the manga sites list? As far as I can see, this site has over 3000 manga, which is really great. It reminds me of onemanga.com. Perhaps onemanga has rehosted their manga to this site. Just guessing. =)
Also, thank you so much for creating this downloader. I really like it.

while it has lots of manga, looks like it doesn’t host the whole package. compare it to mangatraders, you’ll see mangastream.to removes lots of pages. example: Kodomo no Jikan vol.2 ch.8-14, missing covers+color illustration page. which is a shame, ‘cos it seems it host some hq manga.
i think some manga don’t have the credit page intact too.
Some manga also have mangafox watermarks. i don’t see the point of adding it, since we already have mangafox and the manga still available on mangafox…

Agree. We need more h-manga sites. But the bad thing about h-manga sites is, most of them only provide download links to external sites ( mediafire, filesonic etc ) and the one that have an online reader dont have much titles ( except fakku and even fakku is lacking so many titles mainly loli and stuff )

hi domdom, I was wondering why some pages doesn’t appear correctly, for example after the middle of the page the picture is much darker and misplaced, it looks like it is shifted to the right or the left (the start of the picture is at the middle of the page)
sorry for my bad english but it’s hard to discribe, I can email you some pictures if you couldn’t understand me, and consider that I have slow internet connexion so maybe it has something to do with pausing and resuming.

i suggest in the next version domdomsoft, can you add filter the most favorite manga and the the most downloaded manga in each website?
in the list, the most favorite manga and the the most downloaded manga must be in the top
because sometime i need new manga when i bored but i don’t know what good manga

Suggestion:
DomDomSoft main screen is divided in 3 parts. One is where the manga site and search function are, on the left side. The other part is bellow, that’s the manga list. The third part is on the right, and that’s the cued and downloaded manga.
There’s a bar separating the first two parts. The upper part is always too small, the two lower buttons are hidden, so I always have to adjust the size. Unfortunately, every time I launch DomDomSoft, I have to resize again. Could you make the software “remember” any resizing I make?

Got 2 questions:
1. I would like to ask, if im still eligible for that Christmas discount? I just bought lifetime license with that discount and hope it will be ok and I wont need to cancel payment or something (now waiting for that confirmation email)
2. Are you thinking about adding AnyManga.com to list of supported sites?
I was making my own program (for personal use only) which would allow me to download manga from some sites (already had mangarader, anymanga, mangafox working), but when I found your manga downloader and saw price, it was like if you are giving it for free. As I know how long it took me to make downloader just for those 3 sites and it was way simpler. Because of that I ditched mine, but I may miss that AnyManga support. (Maybe I’ll find out that I can get all those series on other sites your program support once I test it so it isn’t so important just curiosity).
