now that i checked out the reader..
i must say its pretty nifty/.. good work there…
its the simplest reader ever.. smooth scroll, very fast.. am loving it! keep updating this one too when u get time.. may be add mouse support- like click left mouse for next page or may be bring a context menu, or may be add lil more options..
but all in all even if this remains this way, is OK since it will be THE simplest manga reader!

Nice with the new reader…
been waiting a software that could be integrated to DDM
If i can make some improvement point is, if you can make picture viewing for each page stretch to frame or moving the viewing for each page respectfully (by space), in esthetically manner if we able to see the next page on below the page you are viewing it can spoil the fun or the story.
next is if is able to make picture move not fell like line spacing but more live viewable or half viewable area, because it make the movement became staccato.
there is many more idea but let it save it for later, for now just congrats on the reader. We will wait what can the reader bring us.
Oh ya, and lets hope that DDM can be jack-o-trade in e-manga software, we have the downloader, now we have the reader, than next if u could build the library or catalog system. I thinks DDM will be perfect.

ah yes.. a gr8 idea salim.. catalog system.. always wanted one.. sorta like the anidb website software available..
for this u could parse data from bakaupdates.com.. get the metadata from the site and build a catalog..
do try it out…

Some of the manga pages have width that is greater than computer screen.Can you create a horizontal scroll like thing for pages whose width is greater than computer screen so that we can read manga scans in their original sizes on your reader?

hey the manga reader works great but i was wondering if u could create integrated menu’s for manga that has been saved in a different format e.g. zip files etc. also a bookmark type ability would be appretiated

Yeah u can open reader with zip/rar/cbz, if no program associate with the file, please choose open with… choose domdomsoft manga reader.exe.

IMO this program is really good.
I mean it’s simple, friendly interface and most of all it interacts with DomSoft Downloader. About the picture width, i think it’s ok. “Double Pages” are well taken care of (comparing to comicrack). However, i would like to see “save point” (if possible) and using “space” to go between pages. More DomSoft Programs are always welcome, such as library and such.

Hey, I just wanted to thank you and say that this software is just amazing. Because now, I can read my manga just by scrolling down and I can easily change chapters. This is so amazing. You’re the best dude ! I mean you don’t only create a soft to dl mangas, you also create one with which we can read them. Thank you very much and keep up the good work.
Oh by the way, I wanted to suggest something for this soft. Would it be possible to add a fullscreen feature. I don’t know about others but I like reading my mangas in full screen. Thanks in advance.

Hi there! Your software is absolutely awesome! I got a lifetime license to show my support. I am so impressed by how much you managed to pack into these two programs. They do pretty much everything anyone could want.
My suggestion to make it better: For the manga reader, it would be nice if we could use arrow keys to change pages (and chapters with control) in addition to N and P. Makes it easier for your hands when the keys are close together.

But, arrow key’s are used to scroll page already, because manga pages are large than the screen.

it’s loading to slow when the manga (.zip) file too larger, can you added file buffer or something like that?
