Maybe the speed isn’t consistent but having the speed column will not change anything. So I agree that the speed colum isn’t really necessary.

I Believe it is the connection as mine is slow right now and i tried getting the next chapter of Naruto, i got pages 2,3,5,7,10,12,13,14,15,16,17. But no errors were determined

I’m not sure what causes the problem but every now and then the Manga Downloader will say there has been massive amounts of new manga uploads

Example from today:
Air Gear (at MangaFox) has 262 new chapter(s)!
Aflame Inferno (at MangaFox) has 41 new chapter(s)!
Bleach (at MangaFox) has 404 new chapter(s)!
D.Gray-man (at MangaFox) has 190 new chapter(s)!
Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn! (at MangaFox) has 272 new chapter(s)!
Ignite (at MangaFox) has 1 new chapter(s)!

I recommended that feature because I think that the Manga Downloader does not give a stable speed although that may be my imagination.

Can you check for file(image) existence before delete/overwrite it?

My case/story:
I download a series(ex: from OneManga). When I read it, I found at some chapter, some pages are missing(usually 1-3 pages). So I redownload that some chapter into the same folder as before. But, later I found that chapter which I redownload, have missing pages again(different missing pages). But, the page that already fine in 1st download became missing page at 2nd download, and it keep happen..

I know maybe(or maynot :p) it’s my connection fault. But not everybody have superb connection. So, my solution / suggestion for someone like me, is to download that series two or three times into different folder, and let it fill each other missing page by overwrite it manually later. It’s better(but bandwidth eater) than check every chapter manually + download missing pages manually. Just hope no missing pages at the same place(thought, probability is small).

Seem, the cause is because the program delete/overwrite the file if it’s name exist in download folder before it download the file from internet. But, if you will to modified your program code a little to skip download file if that file exist in download folder, it will help me a lot to simplified manual check & manual overwriting task by just download same series twice into same folder
Better if you can add correct page size checking also before decide to skip it(fine page) or overwrite it(corrupt page).

That’s my idea/solution, anyway thanks for this great program! You’re superb man!

Add that feature will cause the program load heavier, cost computer performance.
And I think it’s not really necessary.
